A few links didn't work but most are very informative.

The whole issue of Cats is certainly a loaded one these days.

Though Snow Leopard is a truly incredible fur it is an endangered species for certain. Lynx is a more than satisfactory substitute, if not mostly nicer. It is fortunately not endangered. This is certainly where ethics do come to play a significant role.

As for the other Cat species, aside from endangerment, I personally never found them especially desirable from an tactile or aesthetic material. As for spotted real fur if that is your desire. That is being done on Mink, Rabbit and sheared furs of all types currently quite effectively.

For those attracted to the real Cat furs of the endangered varieties, I think it is specifically because of their rarity. Much like Alligator, Crocodile or Ostrich as a leather.

Actually its not the rarity, its the power and beauty, at least for me. a women wrapped in the furs of such a ferocious animal is simply stunning to me> sort of a Femme Dom thing.

My wife loves her leopard, and I love her loving it!

Moso

Strong work and a lot of effort on that post and super nice job on the cat furs.

The site is amazing although it is a pain to deal with the Adobe Flash Format.

There are more than 4000 hits for fox fur alone including this beauty that I have posted in the Gallery.

I've been busy here and had not had time to explore this thread. I want to add my thanks as well to all members and sites who have worked on this. I hope some folks will take the time to fully explore it and post appropriate photos in our Gallery. It would be a shame to miss them. Yes, we can see them in the link now, but for how long? Soon the thread disappears under tons of others, the links disappear, etc. They should be part of our collection. Hopefully some folks here have the time to do some "saving".

White Fox

I have started posting some of the more interesting and rare images in the Gallery it takes quite a while to capture the image and in some cases reassemble it in Photoshop.

Moso deserves a Major Thank You for finding downloading and reposting the big cat series - huge amount of work. I have been working on some of the older fox images - thereare more than 4000 to choose from.

I only realized after rereading the download problems. I had missed that on the first read. It is dedication of folks such as you that make these sites what they are today.

Thanks Moso, Roninphy, and any others involved with this or who might want to help! It is indeed so appreciated!

The post is excellent.. with some great photos of 'past' fur themes... and it will be great to see those images in the gallery or library..

it is of course a dangerous subject based around endangered animals..we must make ourselves clear that we do not promote these things today.. but appreciate the images of the past

I was a little girl during "The Golden Era Of Fur" I do so love Pill Box Hats, Jewelry, evening gowns and the poses of the classic fur ads of that era, I often wish I was older in the early 80's so I could wear many of the fashions then. There are so many wonderful photos in this archive and I look forward to seeing more of them posted here. Thank You to all that have labored to download for us.

I, for one, support (new! not used/vintage) endangered species furs.

Here is an interesting article:

Whilst I support arguments about rational use of hunting, particularly where endangered species are concerned we need to have articles that have a valid scientific background to prove the assumption that local hunting by indigenous peoples will improve an animals chance of proliferation.

Articles without that evidence will always be speculative and open to different interpretations from all sides

How strange looking at those photos?

Although I am totally in love with fur and would admire almost any type of fur I also have a deep love of Tigers, and seeing the tiger fur coats made me rather sad.

I'm not against it as such I just don't like it. Any of the other photos are great though?

How strange

Thank you so much for sharing those links and adding the photos to our gallery! I've never seen a tiger coat before - and I too had mixed emotions about it. While its very beautiful - it's also sad (to me anyway) that such a majestic animal is no longer with us.

To my knowledge, our gallery software does not block the user's ability to copy.

You should be able to use standard methods (right-click & save or drag & drop) to store pictures on your own computer.

Mark

As Worker mentioned I think it sh ould be very simple for you to save the photos. If you have problems though don't be afraid to contact any staff for help.

Just give a quick PM.
