Not all of them. The staff has been kept busy trying to keep up.

Any good suggestions as to how to filter registrations to keep out spammers would be appreciated.

I don't know if you admin. folk have any kind of if/then-type abilities, but I've noticed a lot of them (though not all) often don't put in contact info. Maybe put in some type of restriction based on that???

We really do not have that type of if/then capability without writing an extension to phpBB, which can be complex and is beyond our skills.

However there is an extension that might help, but the service it uses costs $$. The staff is looking for possible solutions and will discuss this extension among other possibilities.

I really don't know much about phpBB and forum software, but I found a few things that might help. :/

A few MODs (though may be outdated)

Thankfully there was a way we were easily able to identify about 95% of the spam account before they did anything, unfortunately a few of them got through but that should hopefully stop now.

I want to thank you too Fox for all the posts your reported, very much appreciated
