I'm not certain about the hair length, but natural mink has longer hairs than leopard no?

Absolutely, and much, much softer. But not as lush for me as say fox.

That's why I said about the sheared. It would look strange the hairs of the body of the coat being bigger than the details, I think.

Yes, i understand the need for sheared for the purposes you are describing. I guess i was just saying that the whole concept is just unappealing for me due to the fact that I really only like full, long haired furs. Sorry for the confusion. :)
