saynotofaux
Does the origin assured programme mean anything to you? Would it sway your judgement? Or is a fur just a fur, and it’s more about pelt quality & price? If two identical furs were offered to you, one OA assured with all the labels etc, and one equally good no name fur produced in the far east, would it bother you enough to pay the supplement? What i’m getting at, is the fur industry wasting it’s time with this? And do prospective buyers really care?
FullLengthFox
I do let it influence my decision to buy or not. Furriers using this fur also generally deliver better quality products, which is another reason to spend a little bit more.
LeComte
If I got the choice between traceable or not, I prefer traceable and would also pay more. The problem is that I (sadly) do not buy fur that often and that there are not so many furriers, so I don't got the choice. But I also buy fur without traceability. The quality argument is also important to me, as @FullLengthFox pointed out. In general I would assume that there are especially some younger customers who are a little bit unsure and might be persuaded by traceability and labels. Before you invest that much money in a OA-label-animal-welfare scheme you usually do a study, if it pays off.
