This is really nice for your wife and you of exploring the street in your furs. We love fur and we are more happy when we have the possibility of wear everyday. Lets hope they really freeze 😈.

We're all over the place for temps as well... -6 tonite, 7 for the high, next Saturday they are calling +12 for the high, so more than double the normal... Ill see how it is when I wake up... as much as I like getting that early walk in, -6 is still pretty warm for me for fur coat weather.. I was almost to warm this morning in the mink at -5, so ill be sweating in raccoon....

dongleboy
I was out and about today whilst wearing my ankle length mink coat. I had crossed the road opposite one of Edinburgh’s five star hotels when an Italian looking lady exited whilst also wearing an ankle length mink. We saw each other and she waved at me. Of course, I waved back!

WinnipegFur
Got out for a sold 25 minute walk this morning in my full length raccon coat/hat.. when I left home it was only 0C, by the time I got to the park it had warmed to +2 already, but the sun wasn't up and it was still dark out... There was a bit of a light breeze, so it cooled things down a little... only crossed paths with an older woman who was walking with hiking sticks..It was definately nice to go for a walk all wrapped up in a fur coat again, but no snow, and still pretty warm out there... hopefully it cools off a bit...

No, I usually goto Assiniboine Park.. there is a quiet area where the flower garden area is.. if I want I can continue my walk further along the main road to the skating rink and come back... I tend to avoid anything remotely near downtown Winnipeg.. definately not a nice place to be hanging out in the dark.. even during daylight its pretty sketchy...

The way the climate is changing I dunno anymore... North America's climate is so messed up now.. one day its 10 degrees above normal the next day your in the middle of a snowstorm.. Denver got 18 inches of snow last week, 2 days later it was in the 20C for the highs... I havent even seen a single snowflake in Winnipeg yet... Many users on here talk Chicago being a fur hotspot... I can imagine even if the temperature isnt bad, the cold wind off the lake must make it that damp wet miserable.. probably worse than the dry -25 stuff we get up here... normally when its that cold up here, there generally isn't much wind... minkme
I went to Denver after their biggest snow storm in years back in March 2024. Spent a week there. Snow still on the ground most of the week I was there. Not a single fur, not even trim to be seen. Not even at their largest shopping mall near Denver. I have been there when it was near zero and below, nope, nothing to bee seen.

Odd, I was in aspen and vail Colorado first week of March 2024 and especially in aspen, there was a multitude of furs to be seen. Mostly mink but the rare fox jacket or even a lynx trimmed fur here and there.

Some places I’ve considered is Jackson hole WY, Vermont just in general, big sky, Bozeman, and Missoula MO, and we have also looked at going back to aspen CO. All very fur friendly areas.
