It was nice to see a young woman wearing a lovely mink jacket today.  Not long after, I saw another young woman wearing a full length beaver coat.  It looked incredibly warm.

So reassuring to see the young embracing furs again.  Long may it continue.

Many a Christmas Tree Lighting events going on in the Northern parts of the United States. And with colder weather , extended time outside and festivities it means, perfect time to wear out your furs! (So remember that next Holiday season if you want to see them out in the wild.)

I think because it was in the mid-40s, the lighting event that I attended didn’t lend itself to anyone wearing full-fledge furs out (at most faux trim) EXCEPT for the wife who sported her 7/8th length dark dark brown mink(I almost want to call it black.)

Asked if she was ever cold at the end of the night and she replied, “Oh, no! I can’t wait until the snow comes. Give me my boots, my fur, and see ya later!”

My car said +7C here yesterday, so in the mid 40s in Winnipeg... normal temp right now should be -10C or so for the highs... today things are flipping the other way, weve got a snowfall warning and 6-8 inches of snow on the way with temps falling.. I think by Wednesday the high is -22Cand the lows are -30C or so....  perfect excuse to be all wrapped up in fur...

Attended an NBA basketball game in Toronto last night, and there were a ton of attractive women in real and faux fur coats... It was safe to say that every woman noticed how much attention they were getting from the men... Fur is primal and encoded on/into our DNA at this point... haha

I was just in Tampa for a long weekend and the weather was a bit cold for the area. Mid to high 40’s at night and there were so many furs (real and faux) while I was out and about.

I appreciate the elegance of older lady when she is wrapped in a beautiful fur, especially the mink, so glamor...

Yesterday I see a older lady wearing a green coat with a big fox collar...

Gawwwwwd! Incredible…first time I’ve ever seen it in the wild. Semi-rushing to the gate at the airport while I passed by a lady - no more than in her late 20s with a full-length blue fox coat! From what I saw, still in excellent condition unlike many vintage blue foxes you see.  “Where is she going that’s even currently colder than we’re at that she needs her full length. Well, does it really matter?” Unfortunately, she wasn’t wearing it but slightly folded on top of her luggage. What I wouldn’t have given to had my cell phone already prepped. *sigh*

Would have mentioned it to my wife that she has pretty much the exact same coat as hers but never bother a lady on a mission. Lol

Saw a good amount of faux coats as well. ‘It’s the season.

Got a minor shoulder injury last week, and unfortunately I cant really get any fur coats on without an awkward struggle since they are so heavy, so have had to resort to normal more light winter jackets.. sucks because we've had some -40 windchills in the last week... telling ya.. once you've worn a fur coat outside in those temps, you will never go back to wearing regular winter clothing.. its a necessity at those temperatures around here...

Oh this is really sad but the world is full of stupid and ignorant people, I don't appreciate of hear free injuries. My fur friend don't care about it and continue to wear your fur...

Honestly with the time I don't care about this stupid people who don't understand the liberty of wearing what we likes, I talk with one lady who wear fur and honestly she don't stop this simple pleasure just for the stupidity of this society...

First off, I hope you get better! That sucks not having full mobility 😞 I totally agree with you here but even at 3 degrees Celsius, I have been out in 4 different full length coats within the last 4 months and given the option, I will ALWAYS choose the fur given the option. I sincerely can’t believe it’s taken me a decade plus to brave outside even in the confines of my property boundaries.

Rest up @WinnipegFurWe need to hear more of your journeys! Have you seen any younger ladies clad in fur yet?

Yeah, i know that... Always a pleasure to see lady wear it.

I’m sure the young lady with the full-length Blue Fox must have been a local area resident flying TO some place colder to warrant bringing  such a lovely piece on the plane. Our temperatures were cold but mostly late at night to early morning.

THEN this got me thinking, there’s actually a young local lady who is helping normalize the wearing of classic full-length fur coat wearing. In MANY ways, I’m glad that the current social climate of Anti-shaming is here and empowers anyone who wants to wear anything they want to step out into public without fear or intimidation.

@pnwhist yeah that's the reason for wear lot of fur, I'm a big fan of full length, i find that elegant and beautiful when the fur cover our body. The winter season is better when you are wrapped in a beautiful fur coat !!!

I don't have problem with intimidation, this is not my problem if pathetic people suffer in the cold... I have the pleasure to be wrapped in my mink during the cold season, autumn, winter and when the spring begin... Also I have a fabulous pair of leather gloves with inside full rabbit fur...

Where are you from ?

Besides that beautiful full length mink at the hospital.. havent seen anything, but I also havent ventured out much in the last week, and its been full on fur coat weather here...  its supposed to warm up considerably after Christmas, like highs around 0 to -3C and lows only around -8C at worse case.. so I am doubting I'll see any furs at all... Hoping Im more "flexible" in a few days to get some furs back on... regular winter jackets sure dont cut it...

Never i want wear a winter jacket when the cold whip my face, i love wear my fur and i enjoy it with the smile...

Why the mink at the hospital ?

So bad i don't see much mink on the street.

A mink full pelts and full length is very elegant and glamor, much older ladies loves wear it with elegance and a beautiful smile... Personally i love my collection of mink and i wear it everyday during the winter season...
