ReFur
In many ways I believe we receive messages from God. I have received many that I was blind to, or just did not "get the message". These were missed opportunities to grow as a person. I have mentioned before I am not religious. Personally think it is the worse thing that ever happened to "God". But, I am VERY spiritual. I believe finding The Fur Den was one of the gifts that God has given me. This email I received today, I believe was a message from God. I hope I listen. Linda This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital. SLOW DANCE Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain Slapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night? You better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Do you run through each day On the fly? When you ask How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done! Do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores Running through your head? You'd better slow down Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die Cause you never had time To call and say,"Hi" You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away. Life is not a race. Do take it slower Hear the music Before the song is over.
Guest
A poor life this if full of care we have no time to stop and stare? no time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep and cows no time to see when woods we pass where squirrels hide their nuts in grass no time to see in broad daylight streams full of stars like skies at night no time to turn at beautys glance and watch her feet, how they can dance no time to wait till her mouth can enrich that smile her eyes began? A poor life this if full of care we have no time to stop and stare I thnk thats how it goes W.H. Davies not disimlar sentiments. Especially meaningful though that those words were wriiten by a terminally ill girl. We should all remember however; life itself is terminal. And yet it isnt. Every atom that was here at the dawn of time is still here. Everything dies; yet nothing truly does.
Snake
I'll take it from a scientific perspective, and correct me if I'm wrong. It's said that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, and what are humans but big ol' bundles of energy? Makes you think of what happens to us after we bite the eternal taco..... As I am now soon may you be. I touched my mothers arm felt her soft fur coat excite me, and from then on I vowed to became a lover fur and wear fur around my body..which I did and do to this day. Many years later in Scotland near Wick I found the same or similar inscription, on a wall grave in a Ruined Castle, at dusk on a mild summers night, whilst wearing a Sable full length coat for my scothish friend. It said:- Remember Me as you walk by As you are now so once was I, As I am now soon you will be, Remember me as you walk by. My Scotish Friend made sure that Id remember him as I passed by, as he said after wed had such wonderful pleasuer it was Gods hand that guided him to me. So Remember Me in Furs as you glide by, I chose to be in furs as I am now To pleasure myself and thy. xxx Lots of Fur to the People
GHOSTFUR
It's a shame our society doesn't want to take the time to read what has been written.........hury,hurry,hurry to go nowhere.....and when it's too late they realize it, they got to their destination...nowhere.
