New SPAM trick

Several times now I have discovered a "New" message in my mail box but NOT at the top of the list with the other new incoming messages..

 

They are ALWAYS SPAM. They are one or two days old?? yet just arriving in my Mail Box and you have to scramble back to find the damn thing to delete it!!!

 

How do they do that??

 

I can imagine it would be a very good way to launch a worm or virus in Windowz this way since it might sit undiscovered for days.

They fudge the date.

 

That's why, in some e-mail clients there is an option that says, "Don't automatically believe sent-on date..."

About two years ago i had a few emails like that in my yahoo box, but it stopped.

They just change the date on there "puter clock supposly.
