FurLoverinFL
Linda, Please accept my deepest sympathies. I lost my mother to brain cancer in 2003 and spent day after day running back and forth to the nursing home. It was, to say the least a difficult and painful time for her and all those who loved her. As bad as things were, she never lost her grace and dignity. In many ways, that's still an inspiration to me. Losing someone, especially a parent, is sad. It is hard. You cry a lot. But you also realize how many wonderful friends and family members you have and how much they care about you. I don't think the pain ever goes away, I guess you learn to accept and deal with things. I wish you peace. FLinFL

ReFur
Thank you again for all your kind words and thoughts. The funeral is tommor afternoon and I will be back home late Thursday. I am doing much better. Knowing my Mother is at peace and her long painful struggle is over makes each day easier. I try to stop in to The Den for just a bit morning and night. I still find it amazing that a year ago I had no idea what The Fur Den was. Now you are all a major part of my life. This wonderful group has expanded my world and teaches me something new every day. I am blessed. Thank you, Linda
