Guest
Its dawned on me that coming here has replaced my need to go to the pub. I have just downed one too many whiskey macs as I have a stinking cold I think I caught from tryxie trash. All that pming I am sure can spread germs. Its so like a pub. We probably all sit at our consuls with a wee drink late on, and all pass messages on to our partners(what did he say?) by proxy. We all share personal triumphs, griefs and tragedies. Often someone has one too many and starts getting a bit OTT regarding sex (s/c type girls get regularly hit on by men who've had a bit much to see clearly there too) We all wolf whistle at the girls though I must say that there are few as stunning as Linda, Miss T, Tryxie and Maribeth etc in my town's pubs; or the "girlfriends" we have been treated to. Boy you have to see Blackfox's!!! And Bigcoats and the Captains and Mr mockles etc. Imagine all those in one pub!!!(My girlf might even go more often then as she tends to get the local pub girls hackles up!!) Errrr....yes you guys.....I might even do what I do in my local and ignore the women and talk about racing/football/politics(NOT!!! ) Then every now and then someone may bring a friend from away. Imagine if that was Mr Mockle and Lana and tracey turned up!!! Actually then...its nothing like my pub at all. Except that as usual I have had one too many!!!! Before you move this to off topic, I will come back to the question I was going to ask: How often do you see ladies in fur in your local? My girlf always wears one to the local, and so far we have only had one adverse comment from a socialist hospital worker. She spent about ten minutes dressing him down and asked him if he was enjoying his pork pie, and what he did for animals when she has devoted her whole life to their care. He is always very pleasant to her now. Has anyone been brave enough, or seen many brave enough, to wear fur to a local bar? Can I also suggest having am evening where we all try it and see what happens? International wear your fur down the pub night . Best regards TOS ps go on then I'll have another for th road...make it a white russian. Hic
Mr Barguzin
GAwd, I thought we was in fur another ToS rant *grin* and then we get a truly interesting question. Yes, this place can replace a pub... or club or bar or restaurant.. in that as we enter we all put on our fur personas and slip away from the real world, for whatever length of time we are allowed access. As for seeing real furs in my local........ ......... ........ ......... ............ ........... .................................... ................ only the faux have I seen. I must live in the wrong neighbourhood... or country. When working in Sydney, many moons ago, did happen to spy a lady sitting in a darkish corner wearing a full length red fox coat, engaged in a deep conversation with some lucky bloke. But that *sigh* is the extent of my real fur encounters in pubs. Ah well, one day..............
White Fox
Touch... Two things... #1. I want to thank you for your topics in "Off Topic" forums. I love that fact that the off topic area is finally being used. I just wish it was used even more. The science fiction topic for one is exactly what it is for. #2. In answer to your question. We have the equivelants of your "Pubs" here but they are not that usual. I don't really have one near me for instance. However, I have often times went into restaurants wearing fur and had nothing but positive responses. There are times though when it is just a little too dressy for some places. In particular something like a long fox. W
