To kick off the season, I saw my first fur sighting last night. A woman, mid 50's came into my place of work last night wearing a Brown mink Vest. I was memorized by it. Hope to see more

If you have any sightings, this is the place to post them

A sighting in Minnesota as well (apart from the girl in fox sitting on the couch making faces at me and turning my brain to pudding) at my place of employment.

Elderly woman, possibly sixties or a squidge higher, in a mink jacket. I brought something out to her car for her, and she made a joke about taking me home to unload it for her. Ah, how the off joke is close to the mark on occasion.

We're getting colder, but alas I am not in a highly furry area. Can keep an eye open though.

Bravo, MrLynx! Autumn just commenced for us in Rome last night, and although I've only seen a few fur trims (and handbags...) around the city this month, I'll reach back and remember my very first sighting of this season: an early-20s brunette wearing a short white rabbit jacket in a club in Amsterdam...on August 19! Yes, indeed, and I'm returning to the Netherlands for a little vacanza in about five weeks. If the furs haven't emerged in Italy by then, I'm sure you'll hear plenty of european sightings from that trip!

Anyone from New York care to report in? And what about Canada?

ciao,

J.

Mr Lynx,

I thought someone had already started a similar thread earlier in the year. Certainly I have been seeing furs around London and Brighton since early September although only coney jackets and the occasional fox or mink tippet.

Regards,

Mr Mockle

Don't count on it Fran! There are at leats 3 members here from the brighton area!

looks like nobody has spotted my girlfriend either. She has been in fur all year round! Evenings of course. But has been wearing fur in day for three weeks.

Saw a mouton full length yesterday ...which is quite a heavy fur for day...on a girl of about 20 in Cardiff. Thigh boots too....a bit of a rock/emo/goth chick. She was really good looking and smoking too and I didn't have my camera...grrrr. A few rabbits and a fox trim denim in Cardiff yesterday too.

Fran,

While it's good to hear about your trip out last night, Mrs Mockle and I have found that very few people seem to make the effort to dress up for dinner here in Brighton and she's unlikely to wear any of our best furs out locally, saving them for nights out in London. If you can suggest anywhere locally that people do dress up to go out then please let me know, either through a reply here or a PM; maybe it will give us somewhere new to go this winter.

Regards,

Mr Mockle

Just got back from an evening out. Rainy night tonight, no fur...but last night, it was much colder - I spotted a woman on the Corso carrying a black mink jacket. Fur season is beginning.

grazie, Dio...

ciao amici,

J.

Kings in the Grand is always a good place. I also have a soft spot for Browns too! Landsdowne Place is also somewhere I would recommend.

All I need now is somewhere to take me there!

When I was a kid I thought wanting to search out women in furs and see the fur Salons in season was abnormal behavior. Quite compulsive however.

Glad to see others enjoy the thrill as much as I have over the years.
