Nice coats.

Anybody know if they ended up banning fur sales?

No, they did not. It was a big fat hairy (haha) issue at one time, but reason prevailed.

Nice to know that happens occasionally.

This just in!

This is from that great movie "Party Incorporated" with Marilyn Chambers: A real Oscar-winning performance, to be sure... I actually own this movie on VHS and should tape some more clips - there are about 10 with that coat.

Can we all agree that LINKS to youtube videos may be posted here??????? Except for those folks - like Cookie, Dragon, Lana & Chelsea (to name a few) - who've told us that they do not want their links shared here...

Yes, my friend, can't we all just get together in the spirit of the mutual love of fur...and just enjoy the videos?

Yes we can.

Moderator's Note: Friends, feel free to post your video links! Remember to include a brief description; if a Moderator, including myself, is pressured to remove the link due to the Den's rules or absolute proof of copyright violation, make sure it's easy for your fellow furlovers to find the video on their own.

Basically we are doing nothing wrong whatsoever by posting any links to external websites that host videos. As to thinly veiled threats about google search restrictions, etc are just pure nonsense. Everyone knows how to get to and find the den. I'd strongly advise against any mods from removing any links to Youtube files as, ultimately is down to Youtube to manage their content, not us. I do think it's a shame that time and time again the same people try and throw their weight around with weak threats and nusicance making. I have no objections whatsoever to a copyright holder making complaints if their material is uploaded and I 'd strongly encourage that no one shares any of the said clips. Don't forget people, these are the people that have obsessivly shut down every furhub that was ever run, regardless of none of their material was shared. Ultimately they are not fur fans, just greedy profiteers.

Remember Toller Cranston, the Olympic figure skater? I met him when I was 8 or 9, sans fur but he was quite a character. On YouTube, search for "fur commercial" and you'll get this as well as a few others that have already been posted.

New from our absent friend FurLover1: search for "dallas" and "fur".

The American TV show 'The Nanny' (remember this?) translated into...Polish?

A guy in crystal fox sitting in front of the camera for a few seconds. Great coat...I could have sworn I've seen this guy in the FFG galleries at some point. Search for "pimp my wear" or just "fur coat".

Full-length red fox coat. Search for "Spetters"

A great clip show of a few Joan Collins fur scenes!

And Joan Collins as Alexis Carrington...en francais. In a beautiful, soft lynx coat. Search for "alexis superbitch".

The incomparable Beyonce Knowles doing the intro to 'Crazy in Love' in a red/white fox number.

Just found this as well - all faux, but it made me laugh. And that music...this actually looks like it might have been some kind of school project?

This didn't go through last time I posted...

So I'm a big fan of the, er, auto programme 'Top Gear'. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this journalist in her (possibly faux) luna mink jacket?

Find it here under, 'The Stig talks'.

Where is everybody?

This is one of the great white-fox clips I lost when my portable hard-drive died after I returned from Rome. Search for "Mona".

The Cutting Edge, a mediocre ice skating movie, features this, the only scene with a huge silver fox jacket.

Dalida, avec Thierry (?) in a scrumptious white fox stole.

And

...leave it to the 80s for this gigantic white fox coat.

Thanks Joe. You just saved me having to watch "The Cutting Edge." Great fur scene, but that's the only reason I would have to watch it. It's always so disappointing when a winter themed movie doesn't produce enough fur!

The title of that clip was "Trxyie Trash is INNOCENT!!! FREE TRXYIE!!" Guess there's something I'm missing.

Seriously. What was that other skating movie? Ice Castles? Lynn-Holly Johnson played the skater who crashed and went blind at training camp? There was one fur scene of her coach in red fox walking into a hotel, and another short one (like three seconds long) of Lynn-Holly Johnson in some sort of coyote or american grey (bleh) fox jacket. Not even worth YouTubing...

However, I've got some low-res clips I videoed with my little Nikon digital camera off the screen of my Mac...I should really sign up for YouTube and share them with y'all...the, ahem, "New Era" of the Fur Den soldiers on...

Haha--you know, it's funny--I sometimes watch ice skating on TV just in the hopes that it cuts to the coach who will hopefully be wearing fur! (rarely happens!)
