Do you use a firewall and if so, is it set to block pop-ups/unders etc.

Along with blocking with my firewall I use Firefox with adblock as well.

 

When I have to use Internet Explorer I use Pop Up Stopper Companion.

 

The toolbar that comes with it is very handy as well.

i'm using the Windows firewall, nothing wrong with it, as long you know what your doing and its blocking all unsolicited requests. And i using IE 6 with the Pop-up Blocker.

 

You don't need all those pop blockers or a 3th part firewalls when it's already on your system.

Since I use Linux and Mozilla Firefox Pop-ups, spam and viruses in general is not an issue. It requires nothing special.

 

The same is true with Mac for the most part.
