Fur stores in The Netherlands

Hi all,

I've been trying to locate good quality fur shops in The Netherlands but haven't found many up until now. 

My goal is to make a list of these shops so it is all easier for us fur lovers, can find a good shop nearby.

You mean shops with an actual store for new coats?

That is a pretty short list;

Hettema in Apeldoorn, but will retire in a few months since he is 84 now

Rademakers in Sittard, but the owner said he is going to retire in 3 weeks last time i was there. Execution sale is already finished

Bonthuis Bödeker in Den Haag, current owner is not the youngest anymore, he has a small shop but he seems to be pretty good.

This is all I know, I would try your luck outside the Netherlands fur new quality fur

Yes, that's what I mean. Doesn't neccesarily need to be 'new' but also good quality second hand. I am not a big fan of online shopping. Especially fur which is easy to ruin.

Lot of shops closed because they are affraid of protesters.

Is there still a fur store in the PC Hoofd in Amsterdam? or do we have to do with the Turkish Leather shops in the center?

I think there was a fur store in Eindhoven but not sure if still active.

And we used to have in Groningen "Van Heusden Leer & Bont" but unfortunately closed years ago

I was in italy lately and saw a lot of Pellicceria's (fur stores) while driving. Jealous of the opportunities :')

I often travel to Milan and there’s a tremendous culture of wearing real fur.  I’ve never had the courage to go into a fur store since they tend to be very discreet.

As far as I can see it's still open. Google says so 😉
