FoxFurStory_35
Is your passion for luxurious furs something that you show or wear in public? Or is it a secret that only you or a few trusted people know? If you revealed it as secret, how did the person you told respond? If you show off your furs, how do people react? Looking forward to hearing varied responses. I’ll go first. My fur fetish was always a secret for me. I always felt shy about it. After a long term relationship fell through many years ago, I dealt with the sadness partly by online shopping. That was where I bought my first furs. First a full length coyote (which I sold later), a lynx dyed fox jacket, and a full length indigo fox fur. But they were kept secret. Then I met my now wife online. After many months of dating then moving in common law. I finally tested the waters to reveal my secret fetish to her. At first I told here there was something she could wear that I found irresistible. She was interested but didn’t push for the answer. After some time while intimate, I said I was ready to show her, told her to close her eyes and brought out a fur. As she held out her hand she responded that it felt nice and was very receptive. We mostly just talked about it at that point. I took us a little while to get comfortable with furs as an accessory. Years later, intimacy with furs is better than I ever imagined. But that’s another “story”…
kev86
Oh this is a beautiful story and your wife know you about. This is a very good new. I think we had different attitude about the fur from our friends and family. Personally my fetishism for the fur is a secret for my family. My families are anti-fur. I buy my fur when I was student and so hard of had pleasure with it, my first fur was a mink jacket... Now I have friends and a couple of friends fetishist and passionate about fur, this is great of go walk, dinner, drink a coffee in our furs. I don't have partner for the moment but I hope one day find my partner who know my love for fur and want try too. During the beginning or I wear fur, I see their regards of peoples and the judgment by their comments, now I wear in public my fur and I'm proud of wear animals, I don't care about comments of animals lovers, PETA or other stupid people who don't have a intelligence for be respectful and respect my life... Take care of you friend.

I have no problem with wearing them to work and my coworkers don't make a big deal out of it, which is great of course. But in my youth I was more shy about it, which I guess is quite common.

I think when we are more younger this is normal be shy but with the time we don't care about the judgment of people. Great of hear you enjoy your furs since three week.
Panther10
I wear my furs in public and have been doing so since 2009. I treat my furs as just another winter coat. One that is far more luxurious and eye catching than your typical parka or puffer jacket sure, but synthetic jackets have done me wrong in past winter seasons and the days have only gotten colder since I first started wearing furs, so furs are absolutely necessary. Considering how cold the weather can get where I live, synthetics are the number one cause of hypothermia around here

Synthetics furs are horrible and this look so bad with any elegance... When we wear a beautiful fur coat made with soft mink or voluminous foxes from farms, we become just unique and we have a better feeling with the winter season, wear our furs give the softness, the warmer and a touch of glamor on the street... I don’t even wear minks or dyed foxes. I tend to stick with natural foxes like blue fox, black, white, indigo and silver.

picarenne
Hello ! For my part, I've mostly kept it secret. But I started wearing a fox fur collar with my normal jacket last winter, and got very few comments about it. Some people called me "viking", since I moved to Sweden; and a friend felt it with her hands, and told me it wasn't as soft as she had thought... 🙄 I think an ex-girlfriend noticed my "interest" for fur, as my long sheared beaver coat was hanging out, and made a comment that it could be "sexy"; but we broke up soon after. I wore that same coat on a winter walk with a friend, who called me a teddy bear but made no other comments. I've not yet dared to wear it at work or with other friends/girlfriends, but I usually ride my bicycle, so the occasions would be rare anyway... kev86
I know the difficult for wear fur on public but I think for much peoples this is difficult of forget the judgment of peoples... After we have also positive attitude and positive reaction from peoples... Peoples don't understand why we love wear furs and why we love this feeling. Tom1698431614 Posted yesterday at 09:34 AM Share Posted yesterday at 09:34 AM I‘ve worn my furs in public for a long time. I do get negative comments but very, very rarely. Far more often I get positive reactions. I‘d say it‘s 50 to 1 positive vs. negative. I think it IS important HOW you wear your furs. Be confident, wear it with pride and seek eye contact to passers-by while greeting them. It‘s that simple.

Tom1698431614 Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:27 PM Munich/Germany. Unfortunately it is no longer real winter over here. I go to northern Finland each February so that I can enjoy my furs in the cold area. See my separate thread.
a_man_of_many_foxes Posted yesterday at 03:28 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:28 PM I tend to err on the side of being more moderate. I do love an oversized fox fur coat, but it’s just not really my style. I tend to wear slim fitting mink furs that aren’t too eye catching. I prefer the subtle approach, but absolutely love seeing others go over the top! I did just purchase a new fox fur coat so we’ll see if it makes a public appearance this year.

I think in France I have the same problem, winter during 4 months but with don't have really their temperatures for enjoy the fur... Your idea is just amazing and when I watch your profile picture, I know immediately the pleasure of wear fur on this beautiful country and natural... Honestly you give me idea for the next winter... I love your oversize fox fur coat, a masterpiece of softness... Never you imagine meet fur friends in Finland during your holidays ? Thanks Tom... Honestly I think this is not the style of furs pieces who modify the attitude of people. Wear a slim fitting mink or a oversize piece of foxes full pelts or a fox fur who give you discretion, if people appreciate fur or respect your idea this is positive but if you meet a PETA member or a anti-fur, surely the reaction of this person are bad and you don't appreciate the moment... Honestly wear any piece of furs and enjoy it with the smile and proudest...
