Has anyone visited a fur farm?

Has anyone here ever visited a fur farm? Genuinely, no fantasists or liars. For the past 30 years it's something that's fascinated me. I would absolutely love to go just to see the experience.

I've often considered contacting some of the larger farms in Scandinavia. But, I assume they wouldn't want visitors due to all the cranks out there.

I wish I had done it while I could do it. I can't speak for Finland, Denmark or Sweden. But the Norwegian fur farmer association, did for the last decade run a program for visiting Norwegian fur farms, and it ran all the way up to the close down of most farms a year ago, and the last one are liquidating around now, before the final shut down of fur farming in Norway from new year.

So haven't done it, but wish I had. Know people that have visited, not fur people but they seemed to think it was ok.

It is nearly December. Now would be the perfect time to visit a fur farm 😊

The perfect time, wear fur during frozen day with the smile when you are ready for the next fur...

I wonder what happened when the cameras were off. I had the feeling Lady Fur didn't care too much about the animal welfare. 😁

Fabulous pictures, wear fur for visiting a fur farm is fabulous... A amazing feeling when you see mink in this cage and you stroke your mink coat... I read the article but the end of this mink is the fur business and this is the best thing to me...

This is one of my favorite pictures I’ve found recently. I like to think they brought the fox out of the cage to see it’s former family that the lady is wearing and to see his fate…

What is the source. She is so cruel to flaunt her fur like that. Very nice

I have always had a passion for silver fox, such a  majestic and sumptuous fur! I envy them for sharing in a business that swaths people in such soft luxury.

Imagine to hold such a huge beast like he does, knowing you soon get his beautiful pelt. 😊

Yeah, the sentiment and pleasure is limitless, you take the fox and you admire this skin, you stroke it and you appreciate the softness and forget the animal is alive, you hope in a future very short this fox become a great skin for a long life...
