coyote 1
When I was 14 Years old in (1963) in my 1st year of high school. In my science class when it came to learning about biology. (a science, as a methodology or study of life and living things). In class, that year each one of the students was given a frog to study, examine and dissect to start with. (We used to hunt bull frogs in the summer and the school paid $0.40 to $0.50 (USD) for each live frog we turned in). As the year progressed next, we dissected piglets, and at the end of the semester rabbits. The final exam was on the location of the various organs and their functions. This picture was posted in a magazine in 1961. At that time, it was common practice, and we were encouraged to learn about the anatomy of animals as they in part; related to the human body. PS: in my school the rabbits were pelted, the skins tanned and were used the following year in other classroom experiments. we
