WinnipegFur Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Its back listed in Winnipeg under a new user name... it was in Brandon when I got scammed, and later a small town in Saskatchewan https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1976828479470519/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks Im going to play stupid later and message them and tell them to meet me knowing its a fake, and then when they tell me to paypal, going to remind them I already fell for that one... contacting facebook does nothing to alert its a scam... I do notice theire asking price has since doubled up...
pnwhist Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I saw the exact same listing in my area and posted it about two weeks after your incident. I’ve learned now to NOT deal with profiles that were created in the current year (in this case, 2024)
pnwhist Posted January 18 Posted January 18 This popped up in my general geographic area…not sure if it’ll fit the wife but I sure wish I had $800-ish to make an offer. 🙂 3 1
CoyoteFox Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Looks amazing... But my gut says it looks better than it feels... 🤔 1

FullLengthFox Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Well I would not be able to imagine lynx letting you down on the FEEL! Any lynx item I bought has been incredibly soft, so I would go for it, this looks like a steal!
furs limited Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Well, that looks like a great find. It warrants an in person inspection, if it isn't too far. Take cash [up to what you might be willing to pay, given your appraisal].
FurRugLover Posted January 19 Posted January 19 When buying on FB marketplace, ALWAYS meet in person to see the item BEFORE making a payment. If they ask for a money transfer of any sort without meeting, it's almost certainly a scam. This is how I bait and report scammers.

I'm guessing you're no where near here 2
pnwhist Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Nope definitely not in California but I’m assuming the Wealthy in my area made their trips to the key shopping Southern California salons back then…and now. 🙂 1
