Furs as Christmas presents…

I’m always a bit mystified about photos of women posing in front of Christmas Trees wearing fur garments, the implication being that they are Christmas presents.   Sure the time to be receiving furs as gifts are in the autumn.  By the time Christmas has arrived the fur season is more than half over.

Yes, it is true that you will have much less time to wear it that year. However, I will gladly accept one as a present any day of the year! Lol

I don’t get this argument. Christmas and birthdays are when we traditionally give each other presents. In some places the fur season kicks in full gear in January. A fur coat is also a long term buy. There will be many winters to come.
