Disgusting faux fur blanket.  If you can't afford real fur, get cashmere or merino wool.

You’ve been on the forum for awhile now. I’m assuming you must have at least a vintage real fur. My wife and I also can’t afford brand new real fur but throughout the years have obtained at least 7 of them - most of them full-length.

Im assuming that you couldn’t purchase a real fur blanket which I’m take finding a vintage one would be rather hard to come by…

I have dozens of rex rabbit, a chinchilla, and nutria blankets, but my faux fur Cozy Earth and Apparis Shiloh blankets are just as snuggly as real fur and actually much warmer. They are also $400 blankets, so not cheapies. Enjoy what you can afford. I'd rather have a nice faux than cashmere or wool, and I have several nice Pendleton, and Hudson bay wool blankets, which rarely get used, cause I'm a fur guy. The texture of fine low knapp fur is like an orgasm for my arms and fingers. Enjoy whatcha got.

Please respect each other, cashmere and merino wool are also expensive. I am also not telling you to buy only brand new sable/chinchilla/lynx from designers. Lynx is still on my list 😁. Most people are already happy they can make ends meet. I was not aware this forum was about who has the biggest budget.

It's not about who has the biggest budget.  He is on a forum dedicated to lovers of real fur.  Faux fur is not the same as real fur.  Faux fur is made from petrochemicals.  As for cashmere and merino wool being expensive, they are a lot less expensive than real fur.  Do some digging on the internet and you will find bargains (and I am not talking about pre-owned cashmere and merino wool blankets but new ones).

$400 is cheap when compared to the cost of a new chinchilla or rex rabbit fur blanket, all things being equal (same size).  And I doubt Pendleton wool blankets are made of merino wool.  I've only felt one of those blankets with my hands and it definitely was not merino wool.

If this is your logic, then you have no other clothes that are made from synthetic materials, right?

This is getting ugly quick, and it doesn't need to.

Someone should stuff a polyester sock in your mouth and then push you off the nearest tall building, mother fucker.

I am a furrier and work with both real and faux, I find no reason for you to be like this and dont know why you feel the need too. I myself haave been very shunned and not welcomed in this group and even have over 300 real furs. I think my collection and his should be valued the same because it is not the item that is what mattters but how much you love it. I havent heard that you have taken your fur camping and to get fresh air so lets be kind please
