Guest Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 If somebody can call his local police they may be able to get him off the streets
Guest Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Probably has nothing to do with fur and should be moved. One of the very few sensible things said in this whole thread. 8)

lynxette Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 So far seems harmless enough to me, although some may feel a bit left out though. Perhaps a bit of translation now and again Touch of Sable, so that all may remain on the same page so to say? After all, we are not all archeologists.
wallee Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Probably has nothing to do with fur and should be moved. I stand corrected. But I've never danced with evil, can't speak for goldsable.
Guest Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I never said you danced with evil I said you danced like a white man I now stand corrected.
wallee Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I never said you danced with evil I said you danced like a white man No. I don't even dance that well. I'm sure white man and evil are somewhat interchanegable to the Inuit peoples. So......
Guest Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 nareaksak........... otok narearpok ............ TOS... Nanuk....angunasukpok.............. otok okrardlukpok........... tunnukpok......... Nanuk akreatorpok kadzait, Ravens, Tryxie.....apkalawok !!!! hahaha! otok mitkrolik pitsiartok Sounds like someones hitting the crack pipe too much.
Guest Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 krearnatok= blue fox The whole thread was in Inuit; eskimo actually. Fur was mentioned in most of the posts. Relevant firstly because it is international polar year and secondly because the Inuit are fighting to keep their fur trade. And thirdly cos it was fun getting you all wondering what we were on about! Anyway I certainly think it worth learning just a little vocabulary out of respect for their struggle; and humility for what our culture has done to them. http://www.wordgumbo.com/ea/can/caninu.htm
lynxette Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Based upon some of the responses to this thread Touch of Sable, I think it was good of you to let people in on the secret so to say.
