Guest
I WILL BE AWAY ALL WEEK AT CHELTENHAM My suggested bets are: champion Hurdle: Royal Shakespeare (50/1) each way Supreme novices: Noland Arkle chase: Foreman and Cerium each way Queen Mother champion Chase: Moscow flyer Royal sunalliance; Denman and The mick Weston each way Bumper: kicks for free World Hurdle: Attorney general each way...but he may run in another race. Racing Post Plate: Hors La Loi III each way Grand Annual: Andreas County Hurle: Motorway and Phar Bleu each way The Gold Cup: Cornish Rebel (each way banker at 14/1) also Royal Auclair at 25/1 each way and Our Vic each way at 25/1 Good luck. Anyone else know/fancy anything? For those of you that arent in the UK, this is the most important week of the year for most of us!!!!! And hopefully it will be cold enough for lots of furs!!!! Guest
I am licking my wounds and gave decided the Irish have had an unfair advantage because they havent had frozen gallops. Also they play the handicap system. But there were hundreds of minks and even sables....best cheltenham ever for fur. Cornish Rebel would have been placed but for an awful mistake and should be backed next tome out. I think Royal Auclair was saved for the National when he stated to get tapped for toe. Nicholls will win the National in a few weeks time....but which of his nine horses I diont know...I still fancy Le Duc. Noland won and I had two placed so hopefully you wont have lost too much. Guest
Hee Hee Yes Cornish Rebel should have been placed - cost me a nice little packet in my Tri-Cast with 1 & 2 in the bag (bout 4 x what you were down at 1 point!!!) Still Ireland landing the Triple Crown more than made up for it Today, shame France turned up in Cardiff at the death & spoilt my 25/1 for the championship & YES Glad I ignored your tips!!!! Up The Orish!!!
Guest
Yes it just goes to show that never mind how much one studies and has an informed, even insider opinion, one can still get it wrong!!!!!! What am I saying? I admit that sometimes such science cannot see the wood for the Irish sneaking out of the trees!!!! Anyone want to give me a price on a PF Nicholls 1 2 3 in the National? That will be sweet revenge. PS whats wrong with Pipes horses?
