justfurme Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 i just cant seem to get this where i want them to go, or to get the links to work. i tried to put them in the SC page 14, i dont know how they got here!
Worker 11811 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 You don't always have to use the "" tags to make links. The forum software can tell when you post an address to a website and it automatically turns the address into a clickable link. Just type or paste the link into your message, thus: http://thefurden.com The system will do the rest! There are two times when you need to use the BBCode tags: 1) When you want to have a text label on your link. e.g.: CLICK HERE to go to The Fur Den. You get that by typing this: [url=http://thefurden.com]CLICK HERE to go to The Fur Den.[/url] 2) When the link you are putting in your message is very long. If it is wider than the user's screen, he/she will have to scroll the screen horizontally to read the rest of the messages on that page. In that case, you should use the BBCode tags to shorten the link so people won't have to scroll. For Instance: [url=http://www.VeryVeryVeryLongURL.com]www.ShortURL.com[/url] If you need help, there are pages in the Fur Den Library that talk about this very subject. >> Click HERE to go to the Library. << P.S.: I fixed up your links for you.
Guest Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Amber is chubby but sweet and has a nice fur. The unnamed one is very pretty but not much for her fur. OFF
