Guest
The two kind of go hand in hand often. Obviously aswell as white turf for the racing at st. moritz in feb, in january there are two weekends of polo on the snow, which is fab for furs. BUT alos on cold summer days you do see bits of fur, gillets, hanging tails etc. Here is a nic pic I found while researching my piece "How to make A Woman happy" which is in the thread in the den pub (off topic) . Worth a read btw if you really want to know the secret of marital bliss. Anyway I thought this was a lovely pic. Its copyright so I can't put it in the gallery http://www.washingtonlife.com/backissues/archives/01oct/photos/fashion02.jpg Anyone come across any links to the polo this year at st moritz btw? There are a few in the gallery but there must be more out there.
lynxette
There are lots of them over at Fur Fashion Guide, including a coat that I thought was all lynx at first, and only in later pics did I realise it was in fact a sheared fur (beaver or mink) with loads of lynx trim. lynxette
Thank you Touch of Sable...and England was wonderful. I wore a blue fox parka and did not receive one negative remark that I was aware of, which was very nice indeed. Am very busy now working with my notes etc and just getting settled back home, but do plan on getting back into the swing of things here at the den as well. The time went too fast and I just had too much to do...I know kind of a cliche but it is true. I plan to do more updates on what I saw and did whilst I was there though, if there is interest in such.
