FrBrGr
Finally got to see "Fur" starring Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey, Jr. This is one bizarre movie - ! As I suspected, it had little to do with fur (at least, animal fur . . . ) but there were a couple of nice fur scenes. Two I'll mention. One was the fur fashion show (I loved the full-lenghth red fox, the full-length chinchilla and the sable stole) and the other was when Kidman's character (Diane) and her husband were having sex amongst some fur coats that were hanging in view. Then there was the "fur" coat that Downey Jr's character (Lionel) gives to Kidman's character (Diane) . . . IMHO, that was just plain gross - ! Does anyone else in here ever watch movie credits to see where the furs came from . . . ?
ReFur
Most TV furs come from the FabulousFurs people, I believe. Linda
MadisonAvenueFurPrincess
I recently rented the Meat Loaf disgust fest called PELTS. The basis of the Movie was that whoever wore the Furrier's (MEAT LOAF) prized coat which he gave to a Stripper he was infatuated with became possesed. If FUR is only half as bad as this Movie I'll be happy.
FurLoverinFL
Meat Loaf made a movie?!?!?!?! And he was a stripper?!?!?!?! FLinFL
MadisonAvenueFurPrincess
Meat Loaf played a Stripper obsessed Furrier who self mutilates himself and then trys to kill the stripper he gives the Fur Coat he designed. This movie gets as you said 4 (Stars) or Men Vomiting. IT IS REPULSIVE!
lynxette
I agree that the fur coat of human hair was a bit over the top...it was probably really monkey which was popular in the 60's...but I did add the film to my collection for the acting, as well as the scenes that did have furs in them (monkey not included )
