Guest Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I love this fur. In a book on furs, I read that Lisa Bisang and her husband have used bleached sable to make fur coats. I myself have sheared Russian sable using scissors and an electric razor. My advice: do NOT do it. Sable fur looks MUCH better left in its natural state. Tricia
JGalanos Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 In a book on furs, I read that Lisa Bisang and her husband have used bleached sable to make fur coats. I have seen a picture of one of their bleached sable coats. I did not care for it. I think sable is perfect "as is". Which leads me to your comment about shearing sable??!! Sacrilege!!!
Guest Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Normally I like things as is but I think this one is so fine I'm really impressed. http://vdsden.thefurden.com/cpgfd/displayimage.php?album=84&pos=193 http://vdsden.thefurden.com/cpgfd/displayimage.php?album=84&pos=195 I think this is also? http://vdsden.thefurden.com/cpgfd/displayimage.php?album=84&pos=3 OFF
