I just wanna make sure im not gonna hurt my faux mahog mink bomber jacket. I wanna keep it in the best shape that it can be but yeah. foxkid Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 I dunno about faux as I don't like or do faux, but yea, for real it's most certainly best avoided. JGalanos Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Whether faux or real, you should avoid wearing anything (like a backpack) that can abrade the fur -- It can break off the guard hairs, permanently damaging the fur. I was shocked at the number of fur clad women I saw in NYC last week with heavy purses strapped to their shoulders, almost certainly abrading the fur.
