JGalanos
WARNING -- This is JG's Inner Fur Snob typing away at his computer ... I have seen photos of pieced sable garments before. I was not impressed. To me, whether mink, fox, sable, or any other fur type ... At the end of the day it's just another pieced fur. Not interested. Guest
I've seen several on eBay that were ever so so For instance: http://cgi.ebay.com/53553-khaki-tan-beige-SABLE-fur-coat-jacket-stroller_W0QQitemZ360029385599QQihZ023QQcategoryZ63862QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262 But then I saw one that was very fine indeed by a private seller. Then a little later webfurs had one that vanished overnight practically it was so fine. Like anything it's how well it's executed. OFF
ReFur
I had one jacket made of Sable pieces once. It had full pelt lapels, fingertip length and belted - very stylish and well-made. Nice unique look. I think again, it was not the issue of pieces, but the issue of quality of pelts and workmanship and style. Linda
