bigfur1
55 degrees today and what did I see at work today,a woman wearing a chinchilla jacket. This was real chinchilla, not rex rabbit. I know what real chinchilla looks like. I held the door for her as she walked by and got a real good look. What a surprise to see,I must say it made my day! Worker 11811
Bonus! I still find excuses to go check the coat room at work to see if there is anything there worth looking at. Even last weekend when it was about 50º, there was one woman wearing fur to the opera!
auzmink
We just need to get out of the idea that fur is only for cold weather. Cool weather is also 'okay' to wear it, just adjust the article....jacket instead of coat, scarf instead of jacket etc. Auzmink.
lynxette
Warmer weather is precisely why I now own quite a few minks...both coats and jackets, as well as wraps and ponchos of various fur types in my collection. Furs are definitely not just for cold days when one loves wearing them so.
Kappa
This last weekend, there were plenty of furs to be seen. I don't know if it was because of all the snow or because of the holiday but it was nice to see people out and about in fur again.
Worker 11811
Up to a point, fur does offer protection from blustery weather too. Doesn't it? The month of March comes "In like a lion..." so this would be a perfect time to use fur to seek comfort from chilly winds. Wouldn't it?
Guest
We are having light snow for the past week and more to come Normally we rarely get any snow at all and certainly snow this late in the winter is rare, especially down at sea level. Worker 11811
We had about a 1/2 inch of snow here, last night, too! Enough to make the grass white and make the roads sloppy but not enough to clog things up at all.

shelley and kevin
We have had snow off and on today and the last couple of days. Shelley wore the Silver Fox and I wore my Golden Island Fox out to dinner tonight. I am hoping for some more weather like we've had. While at dinner a lady walked up and had to pet my coat and said she'd love to have it.....Hummmmmm, maybe for the right price:) Maybe enough that I could get a new one made and also buy the full length mans beaver at Nicholas Ungar................that is if OFF dosen't get it first:)
JGalanos
Brrr ... It's cold! I'm lying on the sofa under my faux (SHH ... Don't tell OFF) sable throw trying to stay warm as I type this. It's very windy out ... Taking the wind chill well below freezing. I took a stroll in my Finn raccoon coat (which was a great complement to my rust shirt, brown trousers, and brown shoes) this evening and was toasty warm. I may have to pull it out again before I go to bed!
Guest
There's still skiing in the mountains and it's still cold and damp here. Watching TV under my real Red Fox spread OFF
FurLoverinFL
It's been in the mid- to upper-80s here for the last week or so. My furs will soon need to go on their summer vacation into storage. FLinFL
JGalanos
It's snowing! Brrr. Lying under The Sable-Throw-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Given the unpredictable weather, my furs will not be leaving for summer vacation until May.
