hey guys,

I was just wantin to know if any of you know if ther any Texas Furriers. I just was thinking about contacting one about having a custom made full lenght fur coat since Im little shorter than most men my age and I just thought id would be nice if I could find one to wear. I still have and love my faux fur mahogony mink bomber but a custom full lenght fur is something I would love to have. Not just an impulse buy but something for me to wear when its cold and to keep warm with at the house where ever that may be. Grant it that id love to actually go to a furrier and have them measure me from top of shoulders down. But yeah, if you guys could recomend a good texas furrier, id really appriciate it alot...

Hi Paul,

I do not know any "colleagues" in Texas. If you find a hard time tracking someoe you can always contact me. Everyone knows that custom made coats is our specialty. We also do take care of our fellow den members.

paul...

If you click on our "Links" button, and then go to "North American Furriers". Each ends with the location. Just look for TX, or Texas, US. I cannot remember for certain but I am pretty certain that we do have some there. Also, have you tried to search for "Texas", and then do a sub search for alternatives like "Furrier", "Fur Store", or even fur types like "Fox", "Mink", etc. ?

Also, as you no doubt know Mailon is one of our experts here as mentioned. He should be able to help guide you through the process.

Late tonight I did a quick search of our North American Furriers Links Page for Texas furriers.

There are 5 Texas furriers there that I spotted with a quick glance. Might have missed one or two. A couple of them are indeed rated fairly high.

However, those ratings are web site only. A furrier may have an extremely nice store and products and a web site that is next to nil.

Hope that helps
