A MALE FUR?

I think I may have mentioned this before. One coat that I have has a slit. NEVER again! I was always repairing that thing. They always said that the slit was to avoid repairs. Well, I think that is why I seldom wear that coat now. I just hate the da#%^@ thing! Seemed like twice a year it would all break out. Soon as I went to no slit, problems solved. never again had a problem.

Personally, I want my furs to be well constructed, luxurious, beautiful -- And masculine. And these days I find that combination very hard to find

I totally agree. It seems you can't get these combined. There's plenty of mascline looking furs, but they tend be heavily lacking in the luxurious criteria, i.e. they seem to be made from the rough ends (How many pieced furs I've seen and coarse looking coyotes)

I totally agree. I have had difficulty finding what I want ... Thus the significant number of custom furs in my closet. I don't think there's a huge difference in what men and women want when it comes to furs -- They want attractive, well constructed, good fitting, luxurious garments well suited to their wardrobes and lifestyles ... Priced reasonably (in October, not during a February end of season sale). From my perspective spiral sleeves have no place in a man's fur wardrobe (nor does a bow belong on a man's sweater) ... But other than some basic style differences the same details considered when designing a women's fur should be considered when designing a men's.

Here's a winner. Just for JG

Don't think I have not been tempted by this jacket! I love fisher ... And at present I don't have anything parka style.

They'd need to add 8" to the chest and 8" to the length to get me interested in a beaver. I think I'd rather just buy the one at Ungar right from under your nose.
