Now when I receive an email notification I know who the pm is from.

 

Ever wonder where a favorite member is? Click on their profile and you will see when they were last on site. I love this!!

Go to your User Control Panel.

There you will find a page called "Friends and Foes".

 

Go add all the names of your friends to the "Friends" list. Whenever you log on and one of your friends shows up you'll see a tag above their name!

 

Is there somebody who has been harassing you?

Have they been sending you nasty PMs? Are you just tired of talking to some idiot who keeps bothering you about stupid stuff?

 

Make them a foe and you won't even see their posts on the screen anymore AND you will block all PMs from them!

 

I recommend you only make people who cause you trouble into foes. If you make just anybody a foe, it will make it harder to read the boards because all their posts will be missing and you won't know what the others are talking about.

Just found another great feature!!

 

I posted on a thread in eBay forum. Hit enter and it gave me a warning another post had just entered and I might want to read it before I posted mine. That is neat!!

Remember when we discussed receiving an email that you had a pm and arriving here to find no pm at all? We had suggested the reason was probably due to the author deleting the pm before you picked it up.

 

Well, now that problem is no more!! The new version shows the pm has been deleted and who the sender was!!

Wondered about all the new symbols and icons used on the boards? Worker provided us with a legend!! " title="Applause" />

 

 

1) Hover your mouse cursor over an icon you don't understand and hold it still for about 3 seconds. I little yellow box will pop up that explans it. The same thing works for smilies.

 

2) If you need a legend:

Two general points

- Red icons are unread items, blue/grey are read

- A star on any thread means you have posted in it
