Knitted suit as option to fur overall

Hello all,

you might have followed the thread regarding my new "baby", the fur overall.(http://thefurden.com/bbden/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9465)

After a search on Youtube for "knitted suit" I have seen a real alternative to my overall ! My overall is designed of "full fur" with all the disadvantages of having to match the figure quite close to let it be comfortable.

The woven structure of a knitted suit more makes it "one size fits most". That on one hand reduces effort in building a specialised cut for each individual as well as makes it double-sided by design (which at least is welcomed by me as beeing a fur lover of the sexual type ).

After all this should also cheapen the suit for all of us fur-lovers as well ....

What do you think ??

It should also make the suit a lot lighter and more "flowing" rather than being stiff like leather. (Not the fur but the heft of the material beneath the fur.) It might even reduce the bulk enough that you can wear a fur suit underneath your regular clothes without being noticed.

In the winter time, I often wear pants that are just a little larger than normal (one size) so that I can wear flannel "long johns" underneath. I tuck them down inside my Wolverine boots then pull the pants cuffs down over the top. Dressed like that, I'm good to go anywhere!

With a knit fur suit on underneath instead of flannels, I bet you could stand outside in the coldest weather and practically laugh in Mother Nature's face!

Worker:

You might notice my post regarding my fur overall: since it is single-sided and since it fits my perfectly, it can be weared beneath "normal" clothing !!

The only thing is that the overall comprises of a big collar which really is a bit too thick that it can not be noticed ....

However I will definitely wear my overall next winter !

I really wonder how much the fur feeling still exist when fur is knitted on the material beneath.

For me it is really important that not a single stiffy little thing disturbes the softness of a good thick fur

Does somebody here have experience with knitted fur ??

My wife has two or three knitted scarves.

She likes them because she can wrap them around her neck in cold weather and they don't feel bulky when tucked into your collar to keep the wind out yet they still feel soft and fluffy against the skin.

She got one of them at a retail store for around $100.oo US. We got another one from a store in the Fur District for about 2/3 the price. They are both pretty nice. I don't think the base on which they are knit feels scratchy at all.

Maybe you could try a knitted scarf to see if you like it. Then continue from there based on what you find out.
