Just outta curiosity................

What is it that first catches your attention about a woman and a fur coat or a mannequin and a fur coat or a hanger and a fur coat?

Is it the coat? or what it is on? or a combination?

Can a bad coat be made to look good by method used in selling? And vice versa?

For me it is the coat, period. The manner it is worn or shown can add to its beauty, but not detract from it. A gorgeous coat is a georgeous coat and a desirable coat remains the same cause i my mind I imagine what it would be like to be wrapped in the fur... MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmm ............ sorry mind drifted off to a blue fox at Purpleshoshanana's............... ooooooooopsssss here I go again.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm men's coyote.....

So, what attracts you first..... the fur?? or the way it is shown?

Touche' Mr B -

I agree on one hand, Mr B, that I am very much attracted to the fur itself, no matter if it is on a hangar, on a mannequin, on a man or butt ugly woman, or on a drop-dead gorgeous and out-of-her-mind sexy woman! ... Howsomever - If I had me druthers, mate, it would be on the latter more than any of the former. If I was a seller on Ebay, and I had a gorgeous lynx or fox or sable or chinchilla coat to sell, I would want to present it in the best way possible, and that wouldn't be on a hangar! I think that when a prospective buyer sees someone wearing a fur coat, particularly if that person is attractive, the prospective buyer automatically sees herself (or himself!) projected into the picture. The model wearing the blue fox you referenced in your post looks to be about a size 2 or 4, and the coat appears (from the description and the way it just hangs on the model) as about a size 14 or 16. It's a drop-dead gorgeous creature (the coat). I would absitively, posilutely love to have a "close encounter of the furry kind" with it. It just needs the kind of model to put it in its best light. If I may make an analogy, if I had a painting by Renoir or Van Gogh or even Jackson Pollock, I wouldn't go to WalMart for a frame for it, and then hang it in a dark hallway . . .

if the fur is beautiful I'm in! I'd rather see a fur on my lover first , other women second,me third ,hanger last. but they all work for me! Cute story: when i was young I drifted into the fur salon of Macy's without my mom. I was caught by a sales lady as I gazed at a very fluffy fur jacket.( I think red fox) I was shy but could not resist asking if I could touch it. The lady took "pity"on me and placed the fur around me. Evan then my body celebrated the touch of fur!

This may sound a little off, but what I notice...aside from the fur ......is how their hair is done. Nothing is sexier to me than a woman with long hair in a nice fox coat. Especially if the hair color contrasts the color of the coat. Like a blonde in a black mink or a raven haired beauty in a blue fox.

Typically it's the woman and not the fur. I can be quick to furgive a woman for wearing well, how shall I say this... a fur of lesser quality. Not everyone can afford truly beautiful furs and if that's what a woman can afford that's fine.

If a woman who I find unattractive wears a stunning fur, I may like the fur, but as the old saying goes, if you put a dress on a pig, you still have a pig...
