furcoatman
what is the deal with spaceball.gif? does anyone have any idea? it happens to me when i try to save SOME (not all) of the pictures off flickr. there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. i know you can get the pics by clicking download this image, but it is not always an option. i noticed brandy's posting had an image next to the theda bara pic that is a spaceball.gif image. that one is linked to a website other than flickr. i know it is probably some code or copyrights issue, but i wanted to know who else is finding these and where. and most importantly why!? Worker 11811
It's a 1 pixel by 1 pixel transparent GIF image overlaid on top of another image in a lame attempt to prevent people from right-clicking and saving the image to their computer. Either use the "Media" tab in your Page Info dialog box (Firefox: Tools > Page Info > Media) or extract it from your cache folder. (...Firefox/profiles/default/cache/...)
