My Friends Accept My love of Fur!! In fact, they love it too

So I was hanging out at my friends new apartment watching "Queer As Folk" (Bravo) The episode was about a character trying out the whole leather scene... and my friends and I ended up discussing fetishes and I brought up furries (Not to be confused with people who enjoy fur coats and sex, you know the people who wear furry animal/mascot costumes while having sex) and my friend was like "That is weird, I think having sex in big fur coats would be fun, but not in an animal costume..." and then the three other friends were like "yeah me too... I would do that!" I was pretty excited about it... I just played along like "hmm... I think fur coats would be a fun addition to sex" but I played if out like I never thought about it before.....

Later on that day we went shopping and at a vintage store they had a whole rack of faux and real fur coats... all of them were 20 dollars!! Our little group had fun trying them on, and I said I would come back later and buy a fur... my friends agreed that I should do that! Then my friend Emily told me about how her family has all her Grandmother's furs at their lake house. So the plan is that next time we go hang out at the lake house I get to try on all the furs!

I'm so lucky I have a few accepting friends that I can be completely open with....

Bernard, you are indeed lucky to have taken it that far. I realize that not all folk here want to wear fur themselves. Some only like to see women wearing it. But of those who do, I find it rather heart breaking when I hear a member saying that he told the sale people that his is "Buying this for his sister".

 

I have so often went in to buy furs and fake furs. In both instances been totally open about it. The few times I have had the least negative comment, I just leave and go to another store and have a great time there. The guys here who have not gotten that far along yet are missing so much. I so hope that they get the courage to "Come out" and wear fur before too long.

Well, that's a great story...Bernard..

 

I have three close friends who all love fur and love the way it makes them feel.. but unfortunately they fear the extremists too much to 'come out of the closet..!'
