Mr Barguzin
Not too sure if this is the right forum, but anyways................ One can now actually 'buy' fur garments in SL, as can be seen by my uploads in the Gallery. When I joined last (just before my puter crash) the 'furs' available were rather rare.... as in non-existent. Now they are not so much freely available, but you can find them, if you take the time to look. There was a shop that actually had mens and womens furs, but as with some things in SL, when I last tried to reach the site, it was "For Sale". Pity... anyways..... if so inclined, check it out. Who knows, someone might actually start a Fur Den online WEG. Ummmmm make that "Within SL"

Joe
Do we know of anyone here who makes income on Second Life? Thanks for posting, Mr. B...Good to see you back.
Mr Barguzin
Define Income *grin* can earn up to $30 sitting on me backside.... or dancing..... but in RT that's about US$0.12..... oh and for 5 hrs "work" so that's hmmmmmmmmmmmm about US$0.024 an hour. Ain't life grand?? If someone can come up with the killah fur, well, they may make a motza.... then again, I look on it as more of a way of losing myself and furgetting about this place (the reality disperser is how I think of SL)
AKcoyote
Do we know of anyone here who makes income on Second Life? Second Life is designed to make money for Linden lab and it's employees, and from what I hear is quite successful at it. There are a few users who make more than they spend in SL, but they are few and I am definitely not one of them. As for Den members, I am not aware of any other than myself who also have Second Life accounts. Any Den members who would like to meet me in SL can PM me for the SLurl of my skypad and my SL account name.
Mr Barguzin
Back to the fur angle *grin* In my time there this time.... have bought several fur coats, both men's and women's, plus two fur collared cloaks. Now most of the coats actually look and float like cloaks, whilst the one that is more a coat, ie has sleeves, doesn't look as furred as the others. The best one for the fur look is the wild brown mink... Unfortunately, the guy who made that (and the majority of my "furs") has vanished, but may reappear, and then maybe not. There was one place that presumably specialised in fur, and I did purchase something from him.... it was the vending machine, not the coat I expected or rather the jacket. It did look great (the jacket, not the board) but am now naturally very wary about buying anything else from him. There is just one place remaining to be tried out.... and her furs again do feature sleeves. I know I KNOW...what's the name of these places...... well, give me a couple of days/nights and I'll get them for you. (Puter is being used to run both climateprediction and Seti@home whilst ever puter is on... so I like to build up me totals and average WEG) Anyhows, I believe I have found an image that may make the perfect format for a SL fur coat..... if anyone is game *grin* I am going to upload it in the gallery and let you folks have a look and see what you think. Remember that sleeves are usually separate from the body of clothing in SL
