Don't know how many of you guys know of the children's book series, "Eloise" written by Kay Thompson.

Eloise is the (fictional) little girl who lived at the Plaza Hotel.

 

Anyhow, FAO Schwarz the toy company has collaborated with the Madame Alexander doll company to create a new Eloise doll just in time for Christmas.

It's called "Eloise in Moscow."

 

Imagine my surprise as the Bears and I were looking through the FAO Schwarz catalog to pick out our next Christmas Bear when we happened to see THIS!

Plus she's even got a nice big fur coat for her dog, "Weenie!"

 

Even though it's just a doll wearing faux fur I think this is important to see.

In a time when kids are being indoctrinated at earlier and earlier ages, it's refreshing to see a doll wearing fur.

 

I'm glad to see that not all images presented to kids are whitewashed in political correctness!
