Nice coat & boots on that model, but "in public"?

Where's the public? It looks like she's parked her car in a chemical weapons testing zone.

Well thats right it is an well influenced place of US Army in Europe...thanks for the nice comment...http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3150/2814052206_139596031f_o.jpg

Those are great pictures Stella. Thanks for posting them.

I edited them to links instead of pictures as we have many members here who are stuck with slow internet connection speed.

If you go to this link http://vdsden.thefurden.com/fdwiki/?n=FD.ImagesRules/ there are some other guidelines that we ask our members to follow in consideration of their fellow members and our server.

We'd love to see more of your stuff.

I also noticed that the pictures/movies weren't quite as "public" as the title made it seem but, once I saw all of your pictures and took them in as a body of work the word "public" doesn't seem so important. I suppose you could use the word "public" to mean "outdoors" as well.

Don't forget the fantasy subtext. People who make movies and photos often use the concept, "Willing suspension of disbelief," to their advantage.

Do you think there are really such things as "terminator" robots with laser beams in their eyes which can travel back in time? No! That's just a fantasy dreamed up by a movie director and played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, for the purpose of entertainment, we "conveniently" forget these things are not true.

I believe that Stella's work is good enough to allow the viewer to use "Willing suspension of disbelief."

The photo I liked the best is this one:

I like the use of black and white photography to enhance the contrast of your black and white clothing.

The railroad track and the dark, cloudy sky give the photo a foreboding "apocolyptic" look.

I also enjoyed your other photo:

I work in a theater. If I saw somebody dressed like you sitting in my theater, I'd be very excited, indeed!
