    • I love to inspired by creative erotic photography with costumes and creative settings..it makes the fur experience more fun, it must be sexual but doesn't need to be nude.

    • I like to see quality pictures with good furs and nice backgrounds, some effort has to be made to not be cheap, nude is good and so are erotic reveals.

    • I like to look at photos of furs..I prefer to see full nudity and don't really care about where they are set.

    • I appreciate the setting and standard of design, but as long as the fur is good and the girl is pretty...who cares?

    • I like to look at erotic fur photographs, erotic reveals are nice, the standard of the photo doesn't really matter.

    • I just love fur photos, the quality or standard doesn't matter. The more fur the better.

Hi..

everyone knows me.. or pretty much most people in the fur world...

I am slightly wacky and crazy and I love being as creative as possible with my fur fetish erotic photography..

But I am curious as to peoples thoughts on how much is too much..?

I make sure that all my furs and added to creative and exciting photograph situations.. I like to give themes and ideas and inspire and please..(after all there are far too many women out there just taking pictures of there naked bodies and expecting people to pay for it..!)..

but do you think.. it is too much...??

so I thought I would start a poll...

Ah yes, I can recall trying to set up polls that covered everything, only to be reminded within three posts that I'd missed summat.

So the Pedantic Mr B stikes;

furrily of course.

To me it is the fur that is the principle thang. An image of a gorgeous girl in a cheap fur has far less appeal than a girl-next-door in a sumptuous fur. After that comes the pose, nudity whatever.

Of course, subtle explicitness also adds a separate thought process, but to me the thing that gets my attention is the fur. Photography and set-ups count to a degree, but only if the fur is pleasing to my eye.... which means not faux, or cheap.

Mr. B hit exactly my point of view !

.. that might be the cause, why I think your silver fox fur photos are the top of your work - you not only look stunning (what a body in ALL pictures !!), but you have a nice, full, sumptuous fur around you.

Although your other sets look nice too and incorporate a lot of work, they would even be better with a) real fur of the b) highest grade.

.. just my Euro in cents ...

Mr B could not have hit this more on the head with this comment. No need of trying to explain further as he did it so well in so few words.

As an aside. My job in early life put me in a position where I was rather forced to often watch XXX movies, when I wished I could have been busy at other things. (Please don't get the wrong idea here. There is a simple down to earth explanation.) Now, like others I can be aroused of course. However, I am often turned off by porn rather than aroused when others might be just because of past experiences that I don't want to get into here.

Anyhow, Great job Brandy... You are a tremendous addition to our little site here!

Once again, I find myself agreeing with Mr B! (Yikes! ) When I am viewing photos, my attention is drawn to the fur first. If the fur is gorgeous, I study it long enough to appreciate the woman wearing it. I, too, dislike the incongruity of a gorgeous woman wearing a cheap or ugly fur, far more than seeing a very average-looking woman wearing a beautiful fox, lynx, sable or chinchilla. A beautiful fur will make the most average-looking woman very appealing! I definitely do not need "in-your-face" nudity or porn to turn me on. Subtlety is important for me. What I can create in my mind is often more erotic than what a second-rate photographer thinks he or she can create for me in a staged photograph. I have enjoyed the different approach that you have used in your photography, Brandy. The creative stories and settings have also added an element that is often missing in erotic photography today. So I had to choose between #1 and #2, with #2 winning out in the end. I am a fur fetishist. It's all about the fur for me. You're getting more and more of the "power" furs, Brandy (the beautiful long-hair furs). Keep up the great work!

Brandy,

I don't think there is a single ubiquitous answer to your question or poll. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as the saying goes - or maybe a more appropriate axiom is different strokes for different folks. So let me add some of my points of view.

Although I agree somewhat with Mr B, it's the overall package of a photo that counts; when the sum of the parts combine to make something more. To me I would consider the following:

- the model(s)

- the fur(s)

- the setting

- additional props and clothing

- the pose(s)

- the technical aspects (image clarity, resolution, lighting etc.)

- the emotion

The first five items don't really need much explanation and are open to personal taste. The technical aspects of an image can increase or decrease a photo's appeal depending on what aspects, tools and skills are available and how they are used, during and after the shoot; this often helps identify a professional or commercial image from an amateur one. But for me the final point is the most important - I need to feel an emotional spark from an image otherwise no matter how good the first six aspects, a photo can be admired but never adored. How to achieve this emotional content is hard to define although for me a lot of it is in the model's eyes and expression. The model has to look genuinely involved and interested in the scene, even if they are not, to reach out beyond the print or monitor. If they achieve that emotional pull, then they - the model and photographer - have achieved their aim.

On the specifics, I find that explicit nudity is often off-putting rather than exciting. Not that I'm prudish by any means but nudity is the lowest common denominator in adult material and websites these days and often the first approach when it should be the last resort. Going back to my emotional content theme, nudity that features too early in scenes leaves nothing to the imagination, destroys the mystery of the scenario and leaves one cold much more quickly than the prolonged suggested tease when the models remain mostly clothed, at least for as long as possible.

If you are thinking about introducing more nudity into your shoots than I fear it'll be the beginning of the end for your fur work. Your audience will grow but mostly from non-fur fetishists just interested in nudity and you will end up altering the nature of your shoots to appease the bulk of your members. And the day that you start working for your membership rather than for yourself, your enthusiasm and motivation will start to wane, which may show in your shoots, starting the sharp decline towards the decision to call it a day. To finish on another well known saying, from the showbusiness world: always leave them wanting!

Regards,

Mr Mockle

Just google the word "naked."

What do you get?

All kinds of crap. That's what.

The internet is so flooded with crappy pictures it's no funny.

When I want to look at sexy pictures they have to be something over and above the usual junk you can find on the internet.

I think the fur and the photography are important but creativity and spontaneity are just as important if not more.

It is amazing and very interesting.. the replies and their varience of points.. but generally.. they all come back to the fur..

I am not thinking of adding more nudity.. by far, that is not the direction I want to go down..and anyway.. most of my members get a pretty good flash of the goodies inside the website..

I was just curious as to the settings and background..

for me.. I need to be in control of all parts of the image.. I need the background to compliment the theme of the shoot...

so i worry about all things..but then I am trying to be erotic and arty and less 'amateur' in my style of shoots...

lets keep this going.. it is certainly interesting to me..

Hi Brandy,

Yeah I think the silver fox looks good on you too! I couldn't figure out how to vote on the poll so I'll just say my piece here.

I think attention to detail is king. By that I mean hair, make up, wardrobe (non fur) and also focus, focus on the theme. I know what happens with fur, you get carried away with it and then forget what you originally set out to do. Contrary to what I just said about focus I think that good erotica does reserve some mystery for the model. So the voyer is left asking 'who is she, where is she going, etc'

Your birthday suit is first class and really you are too generous with it IMO. You have that beautiful raven hair too. However it is the way you dress, the way you move, the character you get into that really makes you stand out. So a promise of nudity is all I need.

Yes, this makes it more difficult for "outsiders" to throw off the vote totals.

People who do not belong to the Fur Den might attempt to make mischief... Ifyouknowwhatimean...

Second, how can the system know who has voted and who has not voted if you don't log in?

Keeping all this information organized is a whole lot easier if the user is logged in.
