furqueen2000
Tonight on 'The one show' a prime time programme on BBC1, a very balanced report was shown regarding the return of the popularity of fur in the UK. If you did not catch it you may get it on the BBCi player. Well done to the BBC for tackling this subject (briefly). Unclejoe420
Have you read some of the responses / comments about the show? Talk about "man's inhumanity to man".. Just seems like a bunch of people slagging each other off, trying to make out that they're better than each other.. UJ
brandy-uk
I skim read most of the replies... and as usual.... silly generalized comments that only belittle the argument of the subject... shame really kisses brandy xxxxx
Unclejoe420
Just goes to show that not everyone should have a computer.. (sorry - bad joke). A lot of replies reference the infamous fur farm vids found online, which gets me to thinking that maybe people on there are registering multiple accounts - but I digress. And I agree with Brandy - is a shame it has just become a big slanging match out of what could've been a good and informative piece of TV. SimonG
Just found the iPlayer page (available in the UK only until Tuesday at 7:30PM GMT) for The One Show where Nigella Lawson came out of the Fur Closet (so to speak.) Check it from about 16 minutes to 21min. 45secs., however the "dodgy stuff"( ) lasts from 19min. 30secs. for 20 seconds approximately. The only follow-up articles i could find were in the Daily Mail & the Daily Express. While the first colour picture of Nige on both pieces ended up on the Front Pages of both rags respectively, the Express had a similar photo inside of the one with her in the Chinchilla from the Mail- but in Black & White. Personally, i'm shocked. Yes, she's acknowledged as THE Domestic Goddess (in the Kitchen anyway), but i never would have her marked down to be a Fur Goddess...
