foxandsable
Hello everbody I'am not really new here, but till now I existed as a silent observer of this forum. Since my English is rather poor, I had not the heart to post a message so far. My story of addiction to fur is probably comparable to a number of others in this forum („How it started“) and dates back to times when I was a joung boy of about 10 years or even less decades ago. Asthonishing enough that were only two small pieces of (probably) rabbit-fur at the end of the sleeves of my mother's coat that initiated my carreer as fur lover and fetishist respectively. The small pieces of fur developed a strange attraction to me and as often as possible, a tried to touch and feel them, while I felt a till now unknown arousal. The game made me pleasure but also produced a deep feeling of guilt and these ambivalent feelings accompanied me for a long time. At that times and in the following 10 jears I did not hear or read anything about a behavier like this and I thought I was alone with my „problem“. When I was aboat seventeen years old, the fetish was already stronger and after I found a few rabbit pelts and a part of a coat lining that was made of trimmed rabbit in my grandmothers wardrobe, a desaster happened. While I was fooling around with fur in my bed, my mother came in and the catastrophy was perfect........... Very interesting from a psychological point of view was the fact, that from this moment on for the next 3 years, the fetish had totaly vanished. But when I began my studies in another town all at a sudden the fetish was back, stronger than ever bevor. This happened like a lightening while passing the windows of a big fourrier, and the longing for furs refreshed strongly and as far as my realy poor moneybag allowed, I began to collect furs. Unfortunately the vary from pleasure to guilt was back too and finally the addiction to fur was only hardly compatible with my former profession as a veterinarian. I guess, I would have felt very very happy, when had access to informations, we have nowadays. Of course I began to look for informations that fitted with my „problem“ and I finally found some „scientific“ articles on fetishism that were not very encouraging and I found myself there not far away from sex offenders. Under these circumstances as a matter of course, I was not able to introduct my girlfriend and subsequent wife. One of the most importent decisions in my life (after about 30 years of hidden fur-fetish career) was at times when could not stand this peekaboo anymore and together with my coming-out I confronted my husband with a brandnew huge fur blanket and a number of fox- and rabbit pelts I had hidden somewhere in our house. She reacted totally different from what I feared and was only angry about the fact, that I had waited so long with my coming-out. Of course I could not change her to a fetishist but from than on, fur was and is an inherent and undisbutable part of our life with daily growing pleasure. It is the merit of a forum like furden that „affected“ people can come to termes with a putative problem an I personally would have been very happy when a institution like furden existed already in times were my inner conflict was just about to detroy my family. Sorry for my English!! So far for tody
lovefur2
Thank you foxandsable. It is amazing to read that someone else experienced such a similar set of circumstances to my own (guilt and all) half way around the world.

White Fox
foxandsable I am sorry that I missed your post before this moment as indeed it is a fantastic one. It rings almost exactly as so many here do. Including the fact that the fetish seemed to disappear for a short while to come back even stronger, and the fact that you had vegetarian thoughts at the same time as a love of fur and you found that confusing. So many here will understand so well as they read your message. It is really great to have read your message. Indeed, as Wallee mentioned your grasp of English language is really good. You have no need to worry about posting here. Your English is almost as good as mine, and that is the only language that I know. Indeed, as Wallee mentions, we would like to welcome you to the FurDen, and we hope that you will find it to be your place to come to enjoy yourself. Lastly, it is great to hear that your mate understands your fetish and what it means, etc. That is so very important. White Fox

They must be true of course. http://vdsden.thefurden.com/fdwiki/?n=History.Howitstarted There are some similar messages from way back in the original Fur Den here. http://vdsden.thefurden.com/fdwiki/?n=History.HistoryOfFrbrgrsOriginalFurDen Please have a look at what is there, and if you don't mind, leave us a post or similar thoughts and experiences. Worker 11811
There's nothing wrong with getting turned on by fur. I've always said that whatever consenting adults do in their own homes is nobody's business. If having fun with fur is what turns you on, nobody has the right to tell you any different. I draw the line at the point where people commit illegal acts or hurt others. And, by "illegal act" I mean things like stealing or destroying other people's property. If there was really such a thing as a "truth serum" and you gave that to 1,000 people, I bet you a million dollars that 90% of them would admit that they would like to have sex in a big pile of furs! Why do people get so hung up about sex?

FrBrGr
foxandsable, I don't know how, but I missed your post until it was revived today. Welcome to The Fur Den! Your story (well told, by-the-way! Your English is great!) is very similar to many I've heard over the years. That feeling of isolation and lonliness with our "magnificent obsession," then the discovery that there are hundreds - maybe thousands or tens or hundreds of thousands of people just like us! As founder of The Fur Den, I hope that you will return often, and contribute your thoughts and experiences on our forums!
Worker 11811
WF: My idea was the "truth serum!" Now THAT would be an idea for Brandy! Make a magic potion. When people drink it they are compelled to tell you their deepest, darkest secrets. Of course, that secret is that they are insatiably horny for fur... which they now feel helplessly compelled to act out in real life!
Velvet_Tigress
That was a really great post! And truth be told, your english is better than some english speaking people I know's english! Fur can really take root in your mind from a young age. A lot of the people I speak to about it seem to have come out when they were very young, and some from the cradle on. It's great that you have more "came to terms" with you love of fur. Better to embrace it than let it drive you crazy. ^_^ Velvet
Guest
In first grade, I went on a school field trip to the San Diego Zoo (great place!). I touched mammalian fur for the first time. It was the fur of a live chinchilla and I remember it was soooo soft. From that moment on, I was hooked. Tricia
