Funny how science is just catching up with what the Inuit have known for centuries!

There have been many stories of expeditions to the arctic where members of the party died from exposure to cold but others were saved when they were given caribou fur parkas.

It is my understanding that caribou fur is one of the best insulators known to man, even when compared to all the modern fibers like Thinsulate, et. al.

I was always one of those kids who asked silly questions like "Why is the sky blue?" and "What makes a car go?"

By the time I was 8 or 9 years old, I had driven my parents practically nuts with questions. That's when they bought a set of World Book Encyclopedias.

Thereafter, whenever I asked one of my stupid questions the reply was, "I don't know. Go look it up."

By the time I was about 10 or 12 years old I practically read the whole encyclopedia from A to Z.

Nowadays, I do practically the same thing only with Wikipedia!

Interesting. I did too. I spouted so much crapola in 8th grade (depth of ocean, distance to moon, etc.) that I was given the science award that year.
