Guest
Folks should regularly check their "New Messages" for a PM. I've posted several to members which have remained unopened for several weeks now. Others have had the same experience. One of several ways we communicate with each other. JGalanos
Err ... Assuming members log in, it should be obvious if there is a PM, as the information in the upper left hand corner would be 1 (or more) new messages versus 0 new messages, right? Or am I missing something?
Guest
It may seem obvious but all too many sent pm's sit in Out Boxes for weeks The obvious is not always so obvious This is why I made this post. OFF
FurLoverinFL
Members also receive a 'you have a private message' email at their email address of record. It is a good idea to pick up one's pm's, even of it's just to delete them. They do take up space on our servers. FLinFL
AKcoyote
The notification of new PMs via email is optional. I am sure I am not the only one who does not use that facility.
FurLoverinFL
Should we consider making that the 'default' option? I think anything that helps get members involved is a good idea. FLinFL
