There are no restrictions, however, it would be polite if you gave credit where credit is due.

Apparently, Kuerschner, the person who uploaded this picture to Wikipedia is a German-speaking furrier. Check out all his uploads, they contain a lot of informative and historical pictures related to the fur trade, furriers, and the furrier's craft:

It looks like they are all public domain as well!

 

There's nothing to stop them from being uploaded to the gallery. Since they are PD, people can do anything they want with them. (Within limits of good taste, of course.)

Personally, I would prefer that the original poster of the pictures get credit for them and, if possible, a link back to his site would be good. In the internet world, sometimes that's almost as good as money.
