Guest
To say that farmed red foxes have softer fur than wild red foxes is not entirely correct. I used to have an Alaskan red fox pelt, trapped in the wild, that was a gorgeous red color and was very soft and fluffy. As for farmed blue foxes, which are color mutations of the wild Arctic fox, yes, they are very soft, but the feel is different from red fox fur. Also, blue fox fur tends to have wooly underfur. The underfur of red fox is quite silky. Tricia
Guest
I would agree to a point which is why my bedspread is Red Fox. Probably farmed. OFF
Guest
That fox spread of yours is very desirable. Who cares if the red fox pelts in it are farmed or wild? They're gorgeous. I'm tempted to ask how much it cost, fur + labor. Tricia
Guest
About $3000 when allw as said and done. I've seen several sites with them for a bit less but more often for a lot more. OFF
