Guest
This is going to sound silly but is there a fur that always turns you on? Some furs I don't always feel good about (like seal) Edited January 16, 2013 by Guest
Lil Dragonfly
How come you don't like seal? Too soft? Just curious.
grouchomg
It varies, but I'm partial to full-length coats, especially coyote and fox of just about any kind. I have a custom-made silver fox parka on the way. Can't wait to get it. Sorry that I haven't posted in awhile. I've been down with the flu for nearly two weeks. grouchomg
Sounds nice ... Congrats! It will actually be quite nice. I've had a coyote parka for 16 years that is finally beginning to show wear around the sleeves, though it has been lovingly cared for. My local furrier is giving it about a 1/2-in sleeve tuck, so there's life in the old coat yet. But I need another one, and I LOVE silver fox. I also have an inexpensive dyed chevron-fox parka that I use for outdoor winter work such as running the snow blower. I never give up an opportunity to wear fur. Good to hear that the extra long sleeves on my custom coats could extend the useful life of the garments. I love silver fox too.
