Rescue in Chile

Not sure if we have any members from Chile, but if we do, we congratulate you on the hope all your miners may be safe in another day. All our prayers are with you as the world is riveted to each miner's rescue.

 

It is wonderful to see the national pride Chile is enjoying now.

Having trained as a mining engineer and spending much time underground as a student, I know very well what it would be like to be trapped for as long as these miners were. I congratulate the authorities in Chile; they have an excellent mine safety and rescue program.
