We had desert cammo uniform when we had our medalparade in Stockholm. I was real jeluse over the ladies who had thick real long bluefoxfurs in the audience. Well, that`s over now. Now I can enjoy my furs and my furbedspreads at home to 100%.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Welcome back from chaos to your home

Glad to hear about your magnificent fur.

Not nearly so cold here. Lots of rain lately but I'm still enjoying my furs too.

As a former US Army Corps of Engineers officer, I salute you as well, swedfur. It's cold here in North by East. I'll be thinking of you when I'm out wearing my fur.

Swedfur,

I know that there isn't anything that will replace the 8 months of your life that you spent in Afghanistan. All I can do is give to you my heartfelt thanks and respect that one veteran can give to another veteran. I hope that this was your first and last tour there (my former unit has been to the area three times now).

My wife's people come from Malmo.

Hope that you will be able to resume your normal life without stress nor trauma.

Enjoy your furs.

Maybe my wife and I will be able to visit you one of these winters with our furs as we go to visit her ancestral home in Malmo.

Merry Christmas and thank you again.

Thanks for all homecoming greetings. This was my oversee tour no 12, the second in Afghanistan, and it is not probalby not the last one. I`m part of a unit that have high alert rediness for oversee operations. OK, I have done some tours, but what I really dream of at all tours are my furs and furbedspreads. I feel that when I coming home after a tour, I just want to sleep for a long time in my soft fur bedspreads/furblankets. Normally we have around 1-2 months leave after a tour more than 7 months and I can enjoy my furs more than ever.

I have been served with the Afghan National Army as a military advisor and I follow them on all operations. When we were sleeping in the villages in the hills in West Afghanistan, the friendly afghans lend us soft sheepskins so we don`t freeze in the nights. I must say that the afghans are quite good att making good sheepskinblankets. I also orderd a long cusom made furcoat. I will upload some pictures i the gallery.

By the way, you can see my bluefoxlined coyote fur in the Et Cetera file in the gallery.

I were surprised when I came home becuse my furrier said that two of my furblankets were ready. They are perfect to snuggle around in the bed after so long time with out "expensive" furblankets. I have already uploaded one picture and will upload another one A.S.A.P.

It's interesting and amusing that I had similar things to look forward while I was stationed and living in Japan. After being on ship on out in the field for an extended period of time, I used to look forward to similar "down time". I'd take off on leave just as soon as I got back, head to Tokyo and enjoy quality time with the woman who made me realize my/ this interest we all share. She always did her best to make our time as furry as possible. Hmmm.. Nice memories..
