"CLUNY BROWN" [SPOILER ALERT!]

In the film "Cluny Brown" (1946), Jennifer Jones, playing the title character, all but ends the film-- in a penultimate scene intended to show how much she and her new husband, played by Charles Boyer, have prospered, thanks to his writing a best-selling murder-mystery novel, since marrying and moving from London to New York City, on the brink of World War II-- wearing a wonderful fur shoulder bag!
